Hi Clive,

This is a serious problem I have with Orbit readers.  I have seen about six
now with sticky cells.

I really don't like them, I have to be honest.

If an RNIB tech couldn't solve it, and they sell it, it's a bit worrying.

All the best

Steve

Subject: [access-uk] Orbit Reader - Braille dots sticking

Hello all,

Does anyone have any . polite . suggestions for what to do when one or two
of the dots stick on an orbit reader Braille display? In this case, first,
one of the dots wouldn't go down on refresh, then after a while it went down
and has never showed itself again when it should. The RNIB technician I
spoke to seemed to have no usable solution. Is it still possible or wise to
clean braille displays with any type of sprays?

Best,

Clive
