Hi Tony, which Superlux mic were you using? I was looking at the UK distributor's website today and they've got a comprehensive range, instrument and vocal mics, both dynamics and condensers. As the Olympus wouldn't have phantom power I take it the mic you were using was a condenser. I'd like to check them out. I couldn't use my current mics, as they're Neumann U87's and need phantom power. When I've used them with the PTR1 to do recordings I've had to run them through the VoiceWorks Plus. The only two dynamics I have are instrument mics, not vocal mics, and in all cases have XLR. Incidentally, I hope your brother-in-law's ok. He didn't half hit that door. I'd be amazed if he didn't crack it.

Both have 8 gbofonboard memory, and both will take up to a 32 gb card, and both haveDaisycapability.
