                Hi all,

I'm unable to find a keystroke in NVDA to bring up the system tray in Windows 7. Am I missing something, or is there a word around, please?

Second, I have a strange problem with my Dell laptop which I am unable to track down or solve satisfactorily, save a rather dirty reboot!

If the laptop has been on for a while, the Windows key, followed by the letter U in order to reach shutdown just doesn't operate, though other combinations used with the Windows key work fine. I really can't work out what's happening and I struggle, with lots of Alt-F4 tries in order to finally shut down.

As always, any help is much appreciated. Thanks.

Hi,

I don't think you have a system tray in Windows 7 - you have running applications and you press Windows key plus T to bring this up.

To shut down bring up start menu and then tab to shut down and press enter.
