I think you would have to say what screen reader you are using.

That is excellent Peter but what key combination would I use
to get back tko where I was? For example I tried this key
combination when in my Inbox in Outlook Express, now how
then do I jump back to my unread mail in the Inbox?

Why not just try the standard windows key which is
windows key B.

                Hi all,

I'm unable to find a keystroke in NVDA to
bring up the system tray in Windows 7. Am I missing
something, or is there a word around, please?

Second, I have a strange problem with my
Dell laptop which I am unable to track down or solve
satisfactorily, save a rather dirty reboot!

If the laptop has been on for a while, the
Windows key, followed by the letter U in order to reach
shutdown just doesn't operate, though other combinations
used with the Windows key work fine. I really can't work
out what's happening and I struggle, with lots of Alt-F4
tries in order to finally shut down.

As always, any help is much appreciated.
Thanks.

Carol P
