Terry, have you or your sister contacted Sky directly about this? Ian has found their broadband technical team quite helpful and patient to deal with after a few teething problems when first joining up.

Hi

I'm also using sky email, and have recently been moved over to Google like others on the list.

I followed all the instructions on the sky web site, including, activating pop, changing the settings in outlook express, and all has worked well for me.

My sister also uses sky, but isn't very proficient on pc's. I logged into her sky account, changed all the settings for her, talked her through changing her settings in outlook express, and still she can't send or receive emails using her sky account.

I next put all her account settings in my outlook express, and I also couldn't receive her emails.

As a temporary measure, I opened a Google account for her, set her sky account to forward all her messages to her new Google account, and she can now receive her sky messages in outlook express.

I'm stuck for how to reach a permanent solution for her to be able to send and receive by just using her sky account.

I've checked and checked the settings.

I live in Essex, and she lives in Cheshire, not that it should matter, just thought I'd throw that in as well.

Any suggestions?

Terry

Hi, not having any problems receiving messages from this list. However, I'm using recent mode, so that's probably why.

HI George,

Yes I did get the acknowledgment but it came to my in-box and not into my access folder where I would of expected it to arrive in. from messages received, it would appear to be a Google mail problem.

thanks for your help.
Jim.

Hi Jim,

. However I have
set access-uk to also send you a short acknowledgement of
your posts, so let's see if you get those.

Hi all,

Since sky.com changed over to Google mail, any e-mail's I
send to the lists,
both access and jaws, don't show up on my computer although
I know they
have reached the lists, because I have read replies to my
messages. Any one
know how I can rectify this problem?
Using o/e and jaws 7.0.

Thanks in advance for any help
Jim.
