Wow!  Either you've been lucky, or you have that "don't mess with me" look
about you, Alison *smiles*.  When I got my first dog in 96, I reckon I was
refused three or four times a year.  It's got better over the years, but I
have been refused in restaurants three times in the past three years, and
they weren't ethnic restaurants.

Cheers

It's unpleasant and frustrating when it happens, but I have had a guide dog
since 1969 and only been refused three taxis in that time and maybe three or
four restaurants, all of which were either Chinese or Indian. Sometimes
staff are unsure but most people are reasonable and the problem is soon
sorted.

If you have nothing to do with disabled people in a general way, then you
are probably not likely to know about disability laws.
