Hi Eleanor,

This is where I highly recommend you read the Talks manual, in the section
regarding text messaging.

In a text message, you can only have 160 characters, before it goes over to
two text messages, and you are then charged for two. The two are strung
together at the other user's end, and so they never know. So if you go over
160 characters, then the second message is begun. The number, when you
press the hash key, is the amount of characters you have left, before you
reach the 160 character limit.

All the best

Steve

Subject: [access-uk] \MOBILE aNNOUNCING cAPITAL

wHY DOES MY MOBILE GIVE NUMBERS BEFORE IT SAYS cAPITAL WHEN \I PRESS THE
HASH KEY TO PUT A CAPITAL LETTER\/? Sorry \i have been writing in caps lock
here. The numbers announced differ depending on the letter \i think or
maybe it is that they differ because of the position of the cursor on a
line.

Eleanor
