I do not think Barbra it is just older people. I was talking to my niece last night, and she is only 26 and she says that she appreciates how useful netbooks are but really she would like a much larger screen.

Unfortunately that's what I also thought Chris. Unfortunate because for a lot of older people the netbook screen is just too small.

I think only netbooks would provide this kind of functionality.

Hi

An older member of my family wants to purchase a laptop. Not a netbook, but no less than 14 inch screen. It is required for Email, Internet, and writing the odd letter and viewing the odd photo and storing music. It won't be used
for playing music, watching movies or anything like that. So something
pretty basic is required. With Windows XP. Given that it is only for light
use, nothing too expensive is wanted. Can anyone recommend a particular
model or where one can purchase such a product? It's difficult to find one
without all the whistles and bells.

Thanks.
