I don't have a "check for updates!" option, only something called "Update
authorisation" which I'd rather not touch in case i mess something up ...

You'll get the next couple of full upgrades - 8 and 9 or 8.0 and 8.2 or
whatever - you'll be able to update by selecting 'check for updates' from
the Jaws menus but if you don't do that you'll be sent a Cd from whoever you
bought Jaws from with the new version on it when it's released.

Hi, I have had J7 for a year and have as part of the license 2 upgrades,
does this mean I get 8 and then 9? or is it .1 and .2? How does it happen,
does the company just contact me? or do I do the updates myself from the
computer? if so, how do I do this? I thought I read something about this
from George Belle the other day ...
