Hi,

IOS5 works out whither or not the person is running IOS5.  If theya re it's 
sent in an instant messege style format, if not it's regular text messege.  No 
need to use emails, just thei rtelephone number.

I've just updated the software on my Ipod and wanted to know how I
would send a message to friends who own a Apple device. Do you have to
send the message to their registered e-mail address? This messaging
feature sounds like the Blackberry messaging.
