David, I'm doing all this and have the US English and Australian English and of course the English voice on the rotor, as I've put them there; but I can't find these other voices however hard I try.

Carol In many screens, do a "rotor" This is placing two fingers on the screen, twisting them as if turning a rotary control. An alternative is, like the one and a half finger tap, by placing a finger in the middle part of the screen, and twisting a second around it. Possibly you will hear: Characters Words Language. Having hit on "language", Then a finger swipe up/down the screen should choose your language. I don't have my iPhone at hand, but this swipe may be either two or three fingers. There's another setting which I recall seeing yesterday for English, English US etc but can't remember where I saw it. Maybe this needs an adjustment to get these voices working ... Any ideas? -- Carol P ---- Original Message ---- From: Ibrahim Gucukoglu To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Friday, October 14, 2011 8:18 PM Subject: [access-uk] Re: I-phone VoiceHi Sharon. Unfortunately the new voice that is used for British English is Daniel, Serena has been retired from active service. You have the option of an Australian English, Irish and South African voices as well as the original US English voice which is Samantha. You can change the voice by going in to settings/general/accessibility then voice over, language rotor and selecting the languages you want to have available to you. All the best, Ibrahim. Is it possible to get the original female voice back, the one I had before the upgrade, and if so, how do I do it. Many thanks. Sharon-- I am using the free version of SPAMfighter.
