go to control panel, task bar and start menu. Click on customise then go to
advanced tab. Then in the list of options  where it says show favourites off
press spacebar to select on, press ok and ok the other boxes that need, then
you should be good to go.

Hi all,  does someone know how to put the favourites  folder in the start
menu,  I have just reinstalled my laptop and need to move this one folder,
I am using jaws 9 with windows XP pro SP3
