The term for that is advertorial. An article written in support of a
product rather than just an advert.
I do think they should be careful using the word launch. To them,
internally, it is a launch, but to us, obviously, it isn't.
One argument is that they shouldn't take on products like this for reasons
that several people have touched upon, but they do get access to a bigger
market than anybody else in the VI field because they go through social
services, opticians etc and those fields do require a certain way of
working.
