Hi Steve.

Thanks, I wouldn't anyway LOL, I've no reason to backtrack but much to my chagrin I should have checked the size.

All the best, Ibrahim.

Hi Ibrahim,

No, it isn't. The other file is just the 1.1 boot loader. You will notice
it is quite a bit smaller. Don't do it.

All the best

Steve

Hi Jackie.

The 1.1 firmware is bundled with the 2.0 download, if you look in the
archive there are two binary files, one of which is the 1.1 firmware. It
should be obvious but if you need me to I can send it to you. Upgrade or
should I say downgrade procedure is exactly the same.

Hi Ari

Unfortunately, I can't find the 1.1 version of the firmware you asked
about recently to try re-installing. It sounds like you have got a faulty

unit, in which case, let RNIB have it back.

Hi Steve
What is supposed to happen when I send an email to subscribe to booksense
UK, because I've sent twice and haven't got a confirmation or anything.
You'll be interested to know that Hims are quite interested, because I
found another SD card with no luck. They reckon the upgrade is somehow
being interrupted, but they don't quite know why yet because this is
apparrently the first instance they've seen this strange behaviour. They
also made me try some other thing that didn't work where you hold down the

9 and cancel keys together and press reset, and still hold them down for
another 30 seconds.
Ari
