Many thanks. I'm just idly curious at this stage. I have been a Talks user
for many years, and have the C5 for everyday use, and the N86 as a backup
which contains the K-NFB Reader software.
I didn't much care for the iPhone. I have got used to the touch-screen
concept as I have an iPod Touch, but wasn't keen on the iPhone as I found
it cumbersome and not great quality. To me, the phone part of it feels like
an add-on, but that experience is, of course, very subjective.
But there is now so much talk about Android that I want to become acquainted
with it, not necessarily to have one, but just to know and understand what
is out there.
So, apologies, but here are my brief questions:
1. Is Google behind Android in the same way Apple is to the iPhone etc?
2. Is Android the operating system as opposed to say Symbian on a Nokia
handset?
3. Where does Ice Cream Sandwich, Jellybean and all these other sweeties
come into play?
4. Does the accessibility portion come on all Android handsets?
I think that's about it for now, except any feedback about apps and TTS
would be helpful to know too.

I've been aware of it, but not paid too much attention until the Georgie
software appeared. That, I have to say, wouldn't appeal to me.
