Hi, Android, especially with 4.0 and up, is way more accessible than Symbian. Trouble with Symbian now is that it is quickly dying and there are few apps you can get that are accessible any more. There are thousands of apps on Android, many of which are accessible. Check out http://www.androidaccess.net to see jsut a few of them. Android is now very accessible. I am currently using the Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini Pro which has a qwerty keyboard and is currently running gingerbread, (android version 2.3) I am shortly due to upgrade my phone to Ice-Cream Sandwich which is android 4.0 which is also accessible. I currently use my android phone with no trouble at all. Accessibility in Android is coming along in leaps and bounds. Nokia have Symbian so who have Android, wondering if it is Sony Erickson. I am totally confused about these phones too otherwise I would have an interest in them if they are now said to be better than Nokia Symbian. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jackie Cairns" <jackie.cairnsplace@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, July 17, 2012 9:20 AM Subject: [access-uk] Re: Android > As I have become kind of interested in this thread, perhaps Steve or > someone > with knowledge of Android phones could please tell me which of them work > with accessibility?
