Christine, if you've never installed Talks before on a phone, you can either try it out in 10 minute mode, which is the default, or you can request either a 10 day licence, which is an automated process via text, or a 30 day licence, which you can request from either your local dealer or by going to www.talknav.com. If you use the latter, you'll be given an e-mail with instructions, as well as the code to activate your 30 day licence. If you then like Talks, you can buy it for £150 if it's your first phone or £50 if you've bought Talks before and wish to transfer your licence. Again you can purchase Talks from either your local dealer or www.talknav.com. If you purchase from the latter, you'll receive a similar e-mail, but this time the code will activate a permanent licence. Hope this helps.

Hi, for second edition phones like the 6630, we're at Talks 3.20.2. You can obtain the latest version by visiting www.nuance.com/talks/downloads.asp, and by following the instructions. Can't really help you with the rest, but hope that helps for now.

Hi all,

I haven't upgraded my Talks for ages and can't locate my version number. (Sure it's easy, but ...) What's the latest version for my 6630, please, and from where is it obtained? No, I can't remember how to install either.

I've decided to upgrade to the latest version as I haven't done so for ages and couldn't find a way to read a telephone number put within a message and copy it to my contacts. Can this be done? (I can't remember all of the number to type it in by hand and am therefore hoping I can copy, somehow) or read just the number, which I also seem unable to do.

Any help, as always, much appreciated. Thanks bunches!
