Thanks Chris.

Just got to find out if I have to pay for upgrade, since I still have the same phone.

Hi Carol, I believe cursor mode was introduced with this version, and it's available for both standard and premium licences. Hope that helps.

Does the cursor mode for letters work on that version? I currently have Version 2.003 (think that's what it said). I have the standard edition. Does that mean other payment, anyone know?

Clive and all, Talks 3.51.1 doesn't exist for second edition phones. As I stated in an earlier message, the latest, and I mean the latest, is 3.20.2. Just wanted to clear any ambiguities that may have been caused.

Hello Carol,

Depending on how old your version is, you may have to pay for the upgrade. If I am correct, to upgrade from an earlier version to 3x is £50. This is also true when upgrading from the standard to the premium edition. You can find out your current version by going into Talks settings and pressing soft key 1, options, select about and this will give you your current version. Press soft key 1 again to exit this information.

You say you have the 6630, this is a second edition phone and you can find the latest version of Talks, 3.51.1 on Steve Nutt's site at:

www.comproom.co.uk

You can change how the cursor behaves so when you are arrowing left/right you can have the cursor mode for letters, words, or original, which means when you have a list of messages you move from one to the next.

I hope this is helpful and maybe others on the list can help with installation.

Best wishes,

Clive Pallett
