Windows 98 is my operating system.
<Does your computer allow you to actually start up ?(does the error appear
and tell you to press any key to continue etc)>
            Yes.

<Did you uninstall anything shortly before the error started ? (its
possible the filename is associated with the program removed)>

"I was having some problems and did a restore. I know I removed a couple of
things after that. One of which was Carbon Copy 32 and maybe Backweb." I
have checked the boards on Compaq support and tried 2 solutions posted. One
of which was Clear Hx, Temp Files, Then Sys Conf Utility - removed Process
Autoexe.bat and config .sys Then Startup and removed duplicates. Here is a
link from the Compaq site which has answered the question but the fix didn't
work.

hAllWithKeyword&HKEYWORD=qrunq.pif&x=37&y=4

<Have you tried to run an updated antivirus program ? (the filename with odd
letters may be virus related)>
Yes. No virus found. I ran the latest version of eTrust from CAI.

Bruce,
After checking the things Christy advised you to check, please post what
Operating System you are using if you have to post back about this.

When I restart my computer I get an error message saying "Cannot find
the file qrunq.pif" Check the file name and extensions.....

Any ideas on what I need to do?

Thanks.
