Looked for the Harlequin around Bradford, no luck. Lakeshore State Park, nothing unusual, there's patches of ice all over. I looked up at one moment to see a big, white "bird" flying low and slow right over Discovery World, towards me, partly into the park, it banked towards the lake and I knew what it was. I waited for it to straighten and pass a little before I put the binocs up to see the American Flag on the tail as I knew I was being watched. That's when I realized how open and exposed the park is. Felt like a mouse with an owl overhead. Barb Kellermann, Milwaukee #################### You received this email because you are subscribed to the Wisconsin Birding Network (Wisbirdn).
