No, they are not. AFAIK, info on music CDs are just chunks of data, and the individual tracks are pointed to by time indicators. I recall seeing somewhere that writing audio CDs is some kind of witchcraft... The CDA-extensions is only what windows sees on the audio-cd, they do not represent the actual track, it's only a pointer to where the data is on the cd or some such. Whenever converting mp3-files to waves, to be playable on a regular cd-player, ignore cda's. Just make sure the mp3-files are converted to wave-files and burn those. HTH. PS. HTML in mails is a definitive no-no. 8-) DS. --Original Message Text--- From: Pratik Patel Date: Mon, 31 May 2004 15:47:36 +0530 OT: mp3 convertor Clean DocumentEmail MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 @font-face { font-family: Tahoma; } P.MsoNormal { FONT-FAMILY: "Times New Roman"; FONT-SIZE: 12pt; MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt; mso-style-parent: ""; mso-pagination: widow-orphan; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman" } LI.MsoNormal { FONT-FAMILY: "Times New Roman"; FONT-SIZE: 12pt; MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt; mso-style-parent: ""; mso-pagination: widow-orphan; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman" } DIV.MsoNormal { FONT-FAMILY: "Times New Roman"; FONT-SIZE: 12pt; MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt; mso-style-parent: ""; mso-pagination: widow-orphan; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman" } A:link { COLOR: blue; TEXT-DECORATION: underline; text-underline: single } SPAN.MsoHyperlink { COLOR: blue; TEXT-DECORATION: underline; text-underline: single } A:visited { COLOR: purple; TEXT-DECORATION: underline; text-underline: single } SPAN.MsoHyperlinkFollowed { COLOR: purple; TEXT-DECORATION: underline; text-underline: single } P { FONT-FAMILY: "Times New Roman"; FONT-SIZE: 12pt; MARGIN-LEFT: 0in; MARGIN-RIGHT: 0in; mso-margin-top-alt: auto; mso-pagination: widow-orphan; mso-fareast-font-family: "Times New Roman"; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto } SPAN.EmailStyle18 { COLOR: black; mso-style-type: personal-reply; mso-style-noshow: yes } SPAN.GramE { mso-style-name: ""; mso-gram-e: yes } DIV.Section1 { page: Section1 } /* Style Definitions */ table.MsoNormalTable {mso-style-name:"Table Normal"; mso-tstyle-rowband-size:0; mso-tstyle-colband-size:0; mso-style-noshow:yes; mso-style-parent:""; mso-padding-alt:0in 5.4pt 0in 5.4pt; mso-para-margin:0in; mso-para-margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:10.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman";} IS IT that the files on the tracks cd 's are wav files ??? but they have .cda extension......and not shown as files in folder BW, Sorin # Sorin Srbu, Systems Engineer Web: http://www.farmfak.uu.se/organisk/ # Dept of Medicinal Chemistry, Phone: +46 (0)18-4714482 >> 5 signals >> GSM # Div of Org Pharm Chem, Mobile Phone: +46 (0)701-718023 # BMC, Box 574, Uppsala University Fax: +46 (0)18-4714474 # SE-751 23 Uppsala, Sweden Visit: BMC, Husargatan 3, D5:512b # # Public PGP key available on request. # # () ascii ribbon campaign - against html e-mail # /\ # # Harmless tagline follows: # # BOFH excuse follows: filesystem not big enough for Jumbo Kernel Patch ******************************************************** This Weeks Sponsor StressedPuppy.com Games Feeling stressed out?
