Troy, this is one of the biggest problems that all of my students have. What I tell them is, forget you ever learned the term "swype." It's totally inaccurate in this context. You want to think more of a flick, than a swype. So pretend like there is a piece of lent or dust/dirt on your screen. You wouldn't swype it along the screen would you? No. You'd flick it off of your screen. So, take one finger on the screen, preferably, your index finger. Very lightly touch the screen, and quickly flick to the right or left. Kind of like a thumping motion, only, obviously, as you said, don't have any more of a heavy finger than you can help. As soon as you make the flick to the right or left lift your finger. In other words, don't quickly slide your finger along the screen. You literally want to quickly tap the screen, move left or right, and lift your finger kind of in all one swift/quick but steady motion. You're probably having all of your 3 buttons read because you're sliding, and as your finger hits each icon it's telling you what's under your finger. BTW, those buttons cannot be flicked between to the best of my knowledge. You literally just have to touch them, then double tap to select them. Everywhere else, flicking should work though. Hope this makes sense. Does anybody have any useful tips besides just practice? One big problem I have is that I have a home button, a previous apps button, and a back button across the bottom of my screen and almost every time I go to hit the back button, which is the button on the left, all 3 buttons end up getting voiced and I have to try again. I guess I have kind of a heavy-finger syndrome smile. Troy
