Hi Aaron,

For the first question, if you enable magnification gestures, you will then be able to triple tap the screen to turn magnification on and off or triple tap and hold to temporarily magnify whatever is under your finger. You can bump up the magnification as much as you need but of course the more you do, the less you'll be able to see at once.

As for whether you should if you use Braille and a cane etc, really it's up to whatever works for you. Give it a go and if you like it then go for it.

Hey guys,
I’m testing the magnification features of android 4.3 on my S4. I’m wondering if I need to enable or should enable the magnifier gesture. How would this be helpful. Also I’m always struggling with going between blindness and low vision. Is it ok to use a cane, read braille, have a note taker and still look at your phone? I’m just curious what others do and think. Thanks,
