[vi-android] Re: Locating talk back

I haven't got a kindle but just checked my Galaxy Note 2, and for what
it is worth 'settings' is there under apps as well - although I did
have to check as I only ever access it via the notification shade
myself.

BTW, speaking of accessing Talkback - is it just me (likely)? Or have
Android or Samsung changed something lately - I just realised
yesterday that I can put a setting to directly turn on / off Talkback
on the power button menu? Previously there was an option to put
"accessibility settings" there, but that would just take you directly
to the accessibility area of the settings screens, whereas now you can
choose either that or talkback directly.

You can also set it to use the two finger extra long press after
holding down the power key. Interstingly when you do it this way,
Talkback just starts, yet when you start it any other way, you have to
accept the agreement that Talkback has access to everything you do on
the phone and who knows what it will do with it. It would be nice if
there was a "don't show this again" checkbox for that messages like
there is for some of the others.

Regards

Quentin.
