I have not posted to the list serve before and hope this is correct. I
thought this was perhaps notable as I have had lots of pine siskins on my
feeder in Arlington today.
What started as a few mixing with goldfinches this morning, has increased
and I now have 25 to 30! And this is despite being spooked by a
sharp-shinned hawk looking for a snack. Have had to refill the thistle
feeder which is something I don't normally have to do very often. They are
also eating seed in the tube feeder and the tray feeder and using the
birdbath.
