VA Birders and Others, Two Pine Siskins were feeding today on the thistle (nyger) seed sock here on Compton Mt. Those were the first ones I had seen here since March 3. I thought March 31 was a bit late for them, but upon checking our club data base I found that they have been found here in Buchanan County as late as April 19.
