[Va-bird] Amherst Lakes

Hello all,
  I checked the Amherst lakes after work today
to see what the snow brought in. At Mill Creek
Lake I had:
    Common Loon- In breeding plumage
    Ruddy Ducks- males going into breeding
plumage.

  At Thrashers Lake I had:
    Red Breasted Mergansers- 1 pair
    Horned Grebe- In winter plumage.
     Ruddy Ducks- 7
At Walmart in Madison Heights I had:
   Ringed-neck Duck- 1 pair
   Lesser Scaup- 1male
   PB Grebe-1
   Canada Geese- 3 pairs
