Hello all,
I hope everyone made it through Hurricane Jeanne. The sky became clear in
Amherst around
6:30PM. I visited Mill Creek and Thrashers Lakes
in Amherst Co. this afternoon 9-28-04 at 5:30PM.
When I arrived it was drizzling and the only bird
I saw was a Canada Goose. Then about 6:15
I saw 3 Forester's Terns flying around Mill Creek
Lake. They were there for about 15 min. and then
flew away. I got real good looks when they flew by
me. There was also an Osprey that hung around.
I went and checked Thrashers Lake. There was a
Great Egret at the far end of the lake.
