[Va-bird] Amherst Lakes

Merry Christmas everyone,
   I went to Mill Creek Lake this morning 12-24-10 to see what was on
the lake. The lake is about 95%
frozen with a small patch of open water.
  There were:
    Canada Geese
    Hooded Merg.
    Ruddies
    Bufflehead
    Mallards
    Black Duck
    Bald Eagle- 2 adults
   * Goldeneye- 1 female
    Ring-necked Ducks
    Scaup sp.-1 male ( most likely Lesser)
