[triadtechtalk] Windows Installer

Hi everybody!
A few weeks ago I downloaded (but did not install it)
the Windows Installer. At the time it seemed to me
that it might do a good job to prevent DLL Hell,
caused by progs which I'll put on my computer.
So, a couple of days ago thinking of installing it, I
searched for more info on what it would do and I am
now not sure if it is meant for the end-user or for the
programmers to include in the programs they are writing.
Does anyone know?
