Here's the entire transaction between humanware and myself. Sounds like the run around to me. Hello, Please check the below settings on your router. These are the basic specs of your Stream’s Wi-Fi: IEEE 802.11b/g/n operating in the 2.4GHz band Things to try on your router: Ensure that the wireless security mode is set to: WPA-PSK Personal/**WPA2-PSK Personal ‘this is the preferred option’ (definition:Wi-Fi protected access with pre-shared key) 1) Change the channel that the router is broadcasting on. If it is set to Auto, the try to set it to a fixed channel, **preferably channel 6. 2) Try switching the data encryption mode between AES and TKIP **or combined AES/TKIP depending on the current setting. 3) Try changing the wireless mode on the router to either G/N or only G or only N if that is unsuccessful. (Your Apex will only work on B or G however) Change the SSID to something simple without capital letters or symbols. To delete it, press the number 7 to enter the wireless menu and then either to or 8 to scroll to the delete a connection option. Press the pound key to enter this and then find your configuration and press pound. Press pound again to confirm. Then scroll to the scan for available connections option and reconfigure your connection. Please let us know if this makes any difference and we can look further in to it if necessary. I've had the stream act the same way when stand right next to the router. I had OoTunes on my iPhone all afternoon todayand never had buffering issues. Also, check your signal strength by pressing the 0 key when this happens. I have OOTunes on my iPhone and have no problems. I keep getting the please wait message on the stream after starting stations. They work for awhile and then the please wait message comes up and I get connection to the station failed. As I said, I don't have buffering issues with OOTunes on the iPhone. So I i know it's not internet connection issues here. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
