On a misty morning with low visibility and a chill in the air we enjoyed a
great morning of birding with a total of 77 species. Best bird of the day was a
Lesser Black-backed Gull sitting on a stump in the lake. It was west of the
long downhill road at Goode. We also found a lone American Avocet in the same
area. There was a female Common Golden eye in Mineral Marsh.
