Upper winds have actually decreased about 25% since this time yesterday -
to about 35 kt. from Brownsville through Lake Charles and ~25 kt. at New
Orleans. The front on for tomorrow looks to be a midday or later arrival
for most of the coast (later for Brownsville and Louisiana due to increased
distance. It is forecast to be a strong front in terms of temperature but
less potent in terms of associated turbulence, the latter probably not
reaching the coastal bend of Texas and points south at all. Still, things
look pretty good for the early half of the weekend at least, maybe longer.
Speaking of good, reports from the field from the upper Texas coast and SW
Louisiana have been enthusiastic and yesterday afternoon a major complement
of warblers including some of the least common species added to the
tanagers, orioles, grosbeaks, etc.

More latter if warranted.
