I recall a post about finding Dell monitor service information for download
on a Sony Website. You had to specify the manual part number in the Web
address. For example, for a Dell P1130 -
http://service-asc.sel.sony.com/SonyESI/pdf/99786960.1/manual.pdf
Two problems - first finding the manual part number, second, hoping Sony has
not password protected that Web site since the word got around about it. The
ASCs that pay for a subscription to the Sony literature would not be happy
about none-ASCs getting it for free.
I would try to get the manual part number from Dell, either from a Web site
listing parts and accessories, or from their parts dept. Failing that, check
some of the distributor Web sites, like Tritronics or Herman, that list
parts by the model numbers and hope they list the model and the service
manual as a part. If none of those work, perhaps a Sony ASC would have a
list of the Dell models supported by Sony.
