Ok Jack you even got me curious. The 150 volt zener must go to a cap, or base of chopper or fet? I've seen lots of 150 volt zeners in Funi, Symphonic power supplies but no Avalanche diodes. Its obvious their not identical power supplies. Lots of these parts wont cross since their china made and they don't follow the same guidelines as Korean or Japanese semiconductors manufactures. I thought that model sounded familiar I looked and have the Funi/Symphonic manual for TVCR13G1/F13TRG1 their isn't a D624 listed in parts or is their any 150 volt zeners or Avalanche diodes either.Power supply listed hear is a oesa02013. Some 15 volters listed. What's the voltage drop across the working Zener? Rick Mitchell Mitch's Electronics Ser.Co. TVCR13F1 PS Problem Jack, So what your saying is that you have two identical PS's with two different diodes in the same place D624, that doesn't make any sense at all. Are you sure the PS's are identical, cause if they are you already have the answer to your question. TVCR13F1 PS Problem D-624 in PS shorted. Numbers on diode are R2M. This crossed to ECG 570, an avalanche diode, VRM-130V. I did a price check on this diode at Tritronics and it showed $17.++. I have a PS just like it that I stuck in the set and everything else works ok. I checked D-624 in my PS and the numbers on it were1Z150. I crossed that to an ECG5100A. That is a Zener diode 150volt, 1W. The ID. numbers on both boards are the same. Could anyone tell me what the difference is and which diode would be the best to replace the bad one with?
