OK, Bob,
Like you said,...back to basics.
I have my +, and - 13 volts.
I replaced the vertical IC with a part from Electronica # TDA9302H.
D409, D445, R420, and R445, were also replaced. I have tripple checked for
bad connections, and open traces in and around the vertical IC.
I have used the TDA9302H from Electronica before, with good results. But,
NO,..I didn't use the OEM part on that one. My vertical deflection is OK. I
have a full dark raster. When I turn up the screen control, it shows Gray
raster, with retrace lines. At the top there is about 1/2 inch, that is MUCH
brighter then the rest of the screen.

I replaced the eprom (Twice) with an OEM part number 483520988527.
I socketed the eprom, and when I remove it, the set works exactly the same.
I tried all the reset proceedures that you sent me. NO change.
Cannot enter the service mode, to check the corrupted parameters that you
suggested (66, or 67).

The CRT module has been repaired, by replacing one of the driver ICs with
part # TDA6106Q, from Electronica. Also had to replace the 10 ohm resistor
R58, on the 200 volt line. The set has new H.O.T (BU2508DF) in it, and also
a new C432 (100@200).

For now, I am going to leave the original Micro-p in it, since a new one is
NLA anyway. Maybe someone will come up with an idea other then replacing it.
One more note: The missing SMD (R321) has been replaced with a 510K
resistor.
Xytal Y321 dosn't seem to matter, if it is in the ckt or not. Set works the
same without it. That don't seem normal to me. Maybe it is bad.
