That resistor is not listed in the parts list. It is different for some models. It has a star by it and there is a legend for the parts with a star which includes the diodes that I mentioned. There is no value in the legend or the parts list for R5a28 for the VS 4544. Unfortunately my schematic has been used so much that there is a tear right through the middle of the values for the models listed. There is nothing listed for the VS4544. Wouldn't be the first time that something was omitted or incorrect. I have found many with Mitsubishi.
