This kit is for repeated failure of the vertical IC. The bouncing problem
has typically been bad caps in the output circuit and more typically in the
video circuit. This is a chassis that will make you crazy with strange
problems if you don't check for bad caps everywhere. Be wary of any
Nichicon and Rubycon polar electrolytics in Mitsubishi sets from about
1986-1990, check ALL of them in the sets from 1990-1992. This includes the
direct view sets.
