Damon

I think i`m gonna have to wait to do this because yesterday i change the .22
ohms resistor and replace it with the original .33 ohms and the transistor
shorted out again. Not having one available i used a generic NTE 2331 and at
soon as i plug the cable to the AC the transistor shorted again. Left it
alone and this morning went out and got the 2SD1556 and install it but now
the high voltage will not kick. I have the standby light on in the power
supply but the one that turns on when you press the power button is not.
Also there is no sound. Ain`t this some s--t. Now without an schematic is
gonna be hard to find the shorted part that this fu----g generic burn. This
will teach me a lesson that not all generic transistor will works in all
set. Any suggestion. I have check the power supply but the regulator is good
and all associated parts .

Thanks

Jose
