I have seen problems on these tuner (MST series) with leaky band switching
diodes (especially after a power surge/lightning storm) and with the
tuning/bandswitch decoder ic that will put out the wrong band sw. voltages
(rare). The diodes can be had to find, as they don't usually short
completely. If you need it, I can email you a diagram of the tuner if you
tell me which variation of it you have (MTT00??).

| I take it you already resoldered the tuner module. Did you
| try to adjust the detector coil inside the tuner? Might be

| I have an RCA CTC130 in the shop that will not detect
| channels above 37 when "auto programming". Channels 30-37 are
| very noisy, while the rest (2-29) are very clear. Any known
| problems with this particular chassis in the tuner section?
|
| Thanks,
