Tony,

In HA area 8 we had two, both partially signalled. But one is currently
being converted to be full signalled as part of a278 improvement. I
understand Mott Macs are currently undertaking a study on behalf of the HA
into the safety at part time signals so if you want / need more information
they might be helpful. The contact I have is Herbhajan.Hira(at)mottmac.com.

Just as a 'straw-poll' how many out there run signal roundabouts as
part-time  (as opposed to permanent?)

In South Glos we have NO 'part-time' signals
