Tony,
In Leeds we have three part-time control signals (2 with signals on one 
approach only to hold traffic back to ease roundabout operation (for 
buses) and 1 normal pt control roundabout)

Just as a 'straw-poll' how many out there run signal roundabouts as
part-time  (as opposed to permanent?)
 
In South Glos we have NO 'part-time' signals
