it could let you know your destination if you put the bus stop in as a point
of interest, though if I were you I would still ask the bus driver to tell
you when you get there to be safe. Bus drivers do forget though so having
the GPS could be useful.

I don't know much about wayfinder and how good it is yet though I am hoping
to get a GPS system of some kind soon.

Cheers

Subject: [talks-uk] Wayfinder?

Okay, so today I missed my stop on the bus because my vision is getting so
bad I can't make out the shapes of buildings anymore. Now, I've heard of a
program called wayfinder for mobile phones. Would this help me... Like would
it bleep ... or buzz ... or vibrate ... or speak to inform me that I am
approaching my destination? How does it work, any URL where I can read up on
it. And cost? And phones that it will work with?

Peter
