Also if you are a jaws user and trying to make the change and have the current version of Window-eyes, it now has Jaws quick key. Press insert-j then press any jaws hot key and window-eyes will tell you the Window-eyes corisponding keys. Press insert-j again to dismiss the Jaws quick key.

I'd be glad to offer help with WE if help is ever needed.

You can email me during the day at corange@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx or call at
413-6314.
I'm pretty sure Robert has also offered any help, but I too made the switch
from JFW, and so felt like I should offer to help anyone with WE.

Well it is no different than learning any new screen reader or technology. I
am a JFW user also and in the process of learning WE and having a terrible
time with it. So it depends on the person and how well they adapt. So what
is a slight learning curve to me might be a big one for someone else! I
think the biggest thing is learning that you have to interact with stuff as with JFW you don't it is all together. Apple does this so they say as to try to give you as much experience as what a seeing person would do they say. As
a seeing person most of my life this might be the case for you skim
something then when it is something you want to know more about you stop and
interact with it to learn more about it. If you don't care really you just
by pass it . So this is what Apple is attempting to do with Voice Over on
the Mac is make it like the you are a seeing person. I know this is not
exactly what you wanted to know but the best I can do. HTH

Bubba,

My concern lately is, what are the commands, and what is the learning curve?

I am sure disenfranchised with Jaws, but it really has worked for me for
many years.

as I can about any technology that is helpful to us blind people and
possible in the long run or short run save us money and give us great
accessibilty. I sure there is several Mac users on here or Mac want to

I'm just curious, does this have anything to do with I-phones and I-pads?
or do you own both a mac and an I-phone?

thanks.
