According to Obama if they make guns illegal then there won't be anymore
terrorist attacks, mass shootings or armed robberies.
I rarely rarely carry a gun because (1) it's uncomfortable and difficult to
conceal in a warm climate, and (2) if not careful then there's a chance that
somebody could take it from me and shoot me with it even if they themselves
were not armed. But it just keeps getting more and more dangerous out there and
I'd much rather have one and not need it then need one and not have it. It's
called being prepared. It's called taking responsibility.

Carrying a concealed weapon is a pain in the ass. I let my concealed carry
permit lapse and stopped carrying several years ago. But now, with the vey real
Islamic terrorist threat facing us, I have reconsidered and am renewing my
permit. Recent history has shown that this Islamic diesease is real and eruptng
everywhere. My advice is to ask yourself if you really belive you cold talk
your way out when confronted by these rabid animals.
The answer of course is no. There are no guarntees in combat. But when
considering the alternatives (like having your head chopped off), I would
rather make a fight of it. But you will have to make that decision for
yourself. Buy a reliable handgun and take a self defense shooting course.
Practice shooting unill you can put three rounds in a one inch group at 20
feet.Then hope you will never have to use this skill.

Good point, Stanley. At least one Sherrif has gone public with a request that
licenses to conceil carry carry with it to responsibility to carry your firearm
and has issued a press release asking people to carry their firearms in public
for then protection of the general public.
The recent California shooting took place in a "no gun zone" which means that
law abiding citizens did not carry any firearms with them.
The killers being criminals ignored the law.
We need people to carry their firearms in these troubled times, or like Israel
we need military on the street corners with machine guns protecting the people
as well.
