Hi Sandra The ribbon of Sibelius 7 isn't bad at all, but perhaps it depends of the Jaws version that you are using. Of course Sibelius 7 isn't yet as accessible as Sibelius 5.25, but you can do a great lot of things right out of the box. Hello everyone, I downloaded the demo version of Sibelius 7 last week and I'm not enjoying myself at all! I can't seem to get it to do anything in a blank score although it did read some spurious information from the example scores. (I have the manual now and things haven't improved). I used to use Sibelius 3 and I'm wondering if 5 is anything like it. For instance, does it use this atrocious ribbon or does it use the good old menue bar that you can arrow through, left and right? When you open a score, can you simply type in it or do you have to jump through hoops as you do with 7? IE, can you start writing a score immediately? Best wishes, Sandra.
