In my town (Memphis) you would not wear a confederate flag unless you were
packin' and prepared to defend your right to wear what you wanted.
To some people it is a very offensive symbol.

my husband thinks it could be misinturped, and that i may offend people.
now i'm thinking if i have to ask, don't put it on...
