TO ME, the Confederate Flag symbolizes a brutal time in the history of the USA,
a time of slavery, a time where brother fought against brother, a time where
the South tried to secede from the North. Seeing the flag in any form--flag,
bumper sticker, decal, clothing patch--is an embarassment of a time I wish had
never happened.
I am German--I do not display the Nazi symbol anywhere in my house, nor do I
believe in it.
