Giving a secon or third in a class of maybe four is better. It lets you know
your dog isnt that
good but on the up side that yours is better than the ones in back of you.

It is also better than having a class of 4 or 5 to come in Winners and the
judges stands in the middle of the ring and states I am withhelding points
today due to lack of merit. I have seen this done. Now this I think embarasses
a whole group of people. I would rather withhold the blue and explain to the
handler why I did this.
