Okay - Just a fun question - How many in GSD "think" they can tell shoulders on a newborn pup? We have all the dal folks that "claim" they have the best eye and they can tell shoulders on newborns.... I laugh at them because those are usually the people that wouldn't know a good shoulder on an adult dog... I never look at shoulders until about three weeks old.. You start getting an "inkling" of what might be there... Straight ones are pretty obvious by about 6 weeks and the beautiful ones show at 7 weeks.. Now, you do have to understand in dals, there are VERY FEW good shoulders in this breed and god knows they DON'T breed true.
