[ SHOWGSD-L ] Shoulders and shoulder layback in puppies

Okay -
 
Just a fun question -
 
How many in GSD "think" they can tell shoulders on a newborn pup?
 
We have all the dal folks that "claim" they have the best eye and they can tell 
shoulders on newborns.... I laugh at them because those are usually the people 
that wouldn't know a good shoulder on an adult dog...
 
I never look at shoulders until about three weeks old.. You start getting an 
"inkling" of what might be there... Straight ones are pretty obvious by about 6 
weeks and the beautiful ones show at 7 weeks..
 
Now, you do have to understand in dals, there are VERY FEW good shoulders in 
this breed and god knows they DON'T breed true.
